Hi, I’m Taylor Malia Dawson.

I’m a Northern California cake and cookie artist living life with my husband and our sweet dog, Bailey, who are absolutely the lights of my life. When I am not covered in flour and sugar, you can usually find me working my 9-5 as a marketing & events manager, collecting tattoos, sipping a delicious almond milk iced coffee my husband made me with some Chobani Cinnamon Coffee Cake creamer in it *drool*, wandering around Target, or dreaming up my next party theme. I’m a people person through and through, and I’ve been lucky enough to build a career around celebrating people, their stories, and the moments that matter most to them.

My baking journey started in 2021 after I fell headfirst into the absolute sport of cookie decorating during quarantine. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a full blown love affair with sugar cookies. After many late, late, LATE nights and a looot of learning, I shifted my focus from cookies to cakes, and I have been completely hooked ever since.

The days can be long, but the work is incredibly rewarding. I feel so lucky to help people celebrate their biggest moments, and I am truly honored every time a sweet treat of mine gets to be part of someone’s story.

I’m so very glad that you’re here and I hope you love this site, the cakes, the cookies, the mess, and the joy of the process as much as I do.
